SRG Studios is bringing samurai skills to their upcoming action roguelike, Champion Shift. Tomoe Gozen, a female warriorfrom twelfth-century feudal Japan, is the newest playable character in the upcoming multiplayer title.

Stoic. Capable. Loyal. Tomoe Gozen wields her determination and competence as expertly as her bow. Entering the world of Champion Shift under the cloud of the Dominion, Tomoe is ready to fight alongside the other champions to secure their freedom. Wielding Moon Piercer, her precise bow, and a lethal hand fan, Tomoe clears the Dominion’s mobs with ease. Players can take advantage of Tomoe’s specialized kit, including different archery techniques to deal additional damage and boomerang mechanics to increase her hand fan's damage.

Champion Shift grants each champion a vehicle form; players can switch between their champion and a sleek car with the press of a button. Energy is generated around the map to power each car, and shifting deals additional damage to surrounding enemies. As Tomoe transforms between samurai and sports car, a shower of honing petals descends upon enemies, clearing the area for more hands-on combat.

Tomoe joins Champion Shift’s roster of reputable heroes, including Athena, Gilgamesh, and Sun Wukong. Champion Shift grants you control of these legendary warriors to enact justice on the Dominion, a shadow corporation bent on world domination. The hunt begins as your champions, equipped with the newfound power of their vehicle forms, battle through the Dominion’s forces in search of victory.
